About the event
Dachtoberfest is calling all Wiener Dogs back to the Richmond Raceway Complex!
After another very successful event in 2025, this dachshund-themed fun family event is back in the Old Dominion Building at the Richmond Raceway Complex.
2026 Dachtoberfest is going to be a party to celebrate 5 years of Doxie Fun in Richmond. The event will feature wiener dog racing (4 categories, $5 per dog to race), costume contests (5 categories, free to enter and open to all dogs), raffles, silent auctions, vendors, guest speakers, agility demonstration, and so much more.
New this year: a Pet Food Drive to support local shelters. The first 50 guests who donate pet food will receive a Party Favor Pack ($10 value) featuring a drawstring backpack, poop bags, a pen, a silicone bracelet and a limited-edition commemorative sticker.
All leashed and fully vaccinated dogs are welcome at the event. Kids 10 & under are…
